EasyGo Texter
Devin Howard
Unlike other bus texting apps that inundateyou with stop numbers you never use, or that crawl the Internet touse up your data, this app puts you in the driver's seat (but notthe bus driver's seat).Grand River Transit's EasyGo service (in Waterloo, Ontario) letsyou text them a bus stop number and get a reply with the next threebus times for that stop. This application stores your frequentlyused numbers in a list, and lets you quickly find and click thestop you need. If you use the application to text a number not inthe list, the stop number will be added to your database. The application can also be customized for other bus services, even though it is set up by default to work with EasyGo. It will, for example, work with Toronto's bus stop texting service.
